WHAT IS THIS?
My marketing workshops are one off (or a series) of marketing education and work sessions. Part of the workshop includes instruction on how to “do something” (so I might create or recommend certain materials for you). Part of the workshop will include “production time,” which means we’ll actually be “doing the work” (right then and there). We meet together first by phone and then after that using GoTo Meeting software for a 90+ minute period of time to concentrate on a pre-defined area you’d like focus and receive assistance to “do the work.”
If you’re local to me (which is southwest Michigan as far west as Chicago, IL, as far east as Detroit, MI, as far south as South Bend, IN and as far north as Grand Rapids, MI) I’d prefer to meet up in person at no additional charge, and for a longer duration (one of the perks of being local).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The process starts with a 20-30 minute telephone or Skype meet up where I simply listen to and seek to understand your needs and desires. After our phone meet up, I will write and send you a PDF that details our workshop plan. You will give me feedback on this plan that includes, but not limited to revisions, modifications and ultimately approve or disapprove. Once you approve, we set a day and time for the one on one workshop. We then simply follow our plan and do the work.
WHAT’S THE COST?
This is extremely inexpensive now since it’s new and the idea has to be proven, but I assure you the value is extremely high for the service. That said, I charge $65 for our initial phone meet. The phone call is recorded and sent to you with the PDF of our workshop plan so that you can revisit as needed. Once you approve of the plan and agree to our 90+ minute one on one workshop plan, you will be sent an invoice for $250. That covers the one on one workshop experience. (Prices are subject to change based upon demand and viability of this hybrid approach to product creation and coaching relationships).
MY PROMISE TO YOU
I will be responsive and responsible with your time on our initial consult. I’ll apply my five years of internet marketing, content and copywriting and home business building expertise and experience to develop a plan for our time together. Then we will work together one on one for up to 90 minutes using GoTo Meeting software so that I can see your screen and/or you can see mine if that is necessary. You will move forward from the place you are now.
In some cases, I’ll actually do the work for you. In all cases, I’ll be looking over your shoulder as if we were sitting across the table from another. You will get work done. You will also have a viable plan moving forward, and wake up ever single morning knowing exactly what you should be doing.
Once a customer, always a customer. One of the perks of being one of my first 100 customers is that I’m offering full service email support. Now, I’m not going to be your pen pal, but when needed, you can email me and I’ll do my best to give the best, most useful reply. For.life.
Let’s say that you want to create a lead capture page, get your Aweber form on that lead capture page and write your first email, but you’re really not sure how to do some of those things both from a technical stand point and a “what am I supposed to create” stand point. During our workshop, we’d do all of the above, and I’d be there to do it for you and do it with you. And when we were done, you’d know what you should be doing the next day when it’s just you and your computer.

You have started to create a list of leads that expect an email newsletter from you, and you don’t have the foggiest
idea about how to set up an email newsletter so that your leads get the value they want from you let alone having a strategy for monetization of that email list. So what do we do? In this case, I might design an outline for 12 emails. You’d know what each email is supposed to do, and it’s greater purpose for value and sales. During our workshop, I might have come prepared with an email already written for you, and then we’d write another one together DURING the workshop, and we might conclude with headlines and bullet points for your next few emails.

Action is everything. That’s what our marketing workshops do for you. They put you into action. You get one specific thing done. So it no longer burdens your shoulders with the weight of what you keep putting off. You have me to provide you with a plan, instruct you, do it for you and guide you after we’re done. What I offer you is not a one off products that you’re left to figure out what to do with if you ever get around to it. It’s also not a coaching contract either where you have to make a big commitment with your time and money. Our marketing workshops are the best of both worlds. It’s a hybrid.
It has the characteristics of a marketing course product in the sense that it’s focused on the one thing you need to get done. That might be traffic generation, blogging, landing pages, content creation and strategy, sales pages, video, etc. Whatever it is, you’ll come away with a new base of knowledge on that subject as if you went through a product with the product creator standing over your shoulders.
It has the characteristics of a coaching relationship in the sense that you’re getting focused attention, direct instruction and will be held accountable for our time spent together to reach the goal of the workshop session.
It even has the characteristics of a service in so much that on some occasions I will do part of the work for you. The reason for that is because if I do the work for you and then explain what I did and then look over your shoulder as you attempt to do it too you’re naturally going to learn better and be more capable of doing the work on your own as you move forward in your business.
